Knowledge Graph
The Knowledge Graph is the database of linked entities that Google and AI assistants use to anchor their responses: who is who, what they own, where, and since when. It limits factual errors by grounding answers in structured relationships.
In practice
A well-established entity — consistent structured data, official profiles, concordant mentions — gets its facts attributed correctly. A vague entity gets confused or ignored. For a group of companies, the mapping matters: the holding structure, its brands, and their relationships must be machine-readable, not just legible to lawyers.
