Entity stacking
Entity stacking is a strategy that links an entity (brand, person, place) to recognized entities in the Knowledge Graph through Schema.org properties, consistent mentions, and links from authoritative sources, to strengthen its presence in Google’s knowledge graph.
In practice
In practice: create and enrich a Wikidata page for the brand, link social profiles to each other using sameAs, cite recognized third-party entities in content, and earn mentions from Wikipedia or reference publications. This work improves brand recognition in AI Overviews and generative responses, which rely on the Knowledge Graph to identify trustworthy entities.
