SERP (search engine results page)
The SERP is what a search engine displays after a query: organic links, local packs, images, rich results, and since 2024, AI-generated answers. Each block type follows its own selection rules, which is why the page must be analyzed before any content strategy is set.
In practice
Studying the SERP before writing prevents wasted effort. When a target query returns only local map packs and directories on page one, a blog article will not break through regardless of quality. Our page templates are selected according to the actual composition of the target SERP, query by query.
