Google Search Console
Search Console is Google’s free interface for site owners: entry queries, average positions, indexation status, detected technical issues, and known links. There is no substitute for the data that comes directly from the engine.
In practice
First action after any launch: check indexation coverage and submit the sitemap. The performance report crosses queries, pages, countries, and devices — it is the only click-data source that originates from Google itself. Data is sampled and rolls on a 16-month window: exporting regularly to external storage prevents losing the history.
