Franchise network

The collective of franchisees operating a given concept under a single brand, coordinated by the franchisor. Overall network performance depends on offer consistency across outlets, support quality, and the ability to recruit high-calibre franchisees.

In practice

Network size is not a guarantee of performance. Fifty well-supported franchisees often generate more value than two hundred left to operate without adequate guidance. Benchmarks consistently show that networks whose franchisees outperform their sector average are those that invest most heavily in support: one support manager per 15 to 20 franchisees is the norm in high-performing networks.
